WOOSTER – William R JEFFERY, 76, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born May 20, 1933 in Homerville the son of Lawrence and Glea Walters Jeffery.
He had worked for the Timken Company as an inspector. He was a member of the New Pittsburg Sportsman Club, was an avid softball player and coach and was an avid hunter and trap shooter. Served his country with the U.S. Army.
Surviving are wife, Barbara Ray Jeffery, a son, Mark (Heidi) Jeffery of Wooster and daughters, Lisa (Bill) Gallatin of Mt. Eaton and Lora (Jon) Lennon of Texas; 6 grandchildren, brothers, Al (Darlene) Jeffery of Homerville and Bob Jeffery of Wooster.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no calling hours.
Services will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 10:30 A.M..
