MARSHALLVILLE – Sadie M. POULSON, 77, of Marshallville, passed away Thursday August 12, 2010 in her home.
She was born February 4, 1933 in Wooster, the daughter of Walter and Ethel Daugherty Bonewitz.
Sadie had worked at the former Young’s IGA, Nich Amster Workshop, and in the cafeteria for Wooster City Schools. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Marshallville. Her life was spent serving others and her church and community were special to her. Her greatest joy was cooking and baking and making sure that those she loved were well fed. She had a heart for animals, especially cats. Sadie was a member of the United Methodist Women, Jelly City Seniors, Crafters, Wooster Parkinson’s Support Group..
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Russell M Poulson; her children Alan (Jane) Poulson of Wooster, Terry (Diane) Poulson of Defiance, Tom (Cindy) Poulson of Smithville and Mary (Ken) Jackson of Wadsworth, grandchildren, Glenn Ennis, David & Christina Ennis, Melanie and Andrew Poulson, Kyle, Eric and Kevin Jackson; great-grandchildren Ryan, Haylea, Trinnity, Aidenn and Gavin.
Sadie was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Sunday evening from 6-8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Marshallville on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Kenneth Moody-Arndt officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
