Rodney Dale Kirkpatrick II 48, of Wooster died Friday August 13th 2010 in his home. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at Dickey Cemetery in Ashland on Monday Aug. 16, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. There will be no calling hours.
He was born May 24th 1962 in Lodi the son of Rodney Dale Kirkpatrick and Geneva M. Vanway Carpenter.
Rodney worked as a grinder for Orrville Bronze and Aluminum for 14 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, and he enjoyed NASCAR and being with his friends.
Surviving are his father Rodney Dale ( Linda) Kirkpatrick Sr. of Wooster, His mother: Geneva M. Carpenter of Ashland. Children: Justin Kirkpatrick of Orrville, Amanda Eaves Conley of Spencer WV, Jeremy Wilson of Wheeling WV, and Jason Wilson of Marietta Ohio. Brothers and Sisters: Richard Kirkpatrick of Newport Richey Fl., Lisa Kirkpatrick of Ashland, Cindy Graves of Ashland, Tracey Daugherty of Wooster, Erika Lemmon of Wooster, and Jim Troyer of Ocean Springs Mississippi. 2 grandchildren: Alexis and David. His grandmother Mabel Kirkpatrick of Ashland. A special friend: Carol Mullins of Wooster, and a host of other friends. He was preceded in death by a sister Chrystal.
