WOOSTER – Rose A. MAY, 87, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 in Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born April 7, 1923 in Wooster, the daughter of Anthony and Thresa Cicconetti Bursani. She married Harold E. May on December 3, 1941. He died September 18, 2003.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the Cambridge Staff and Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne Co. and Smithville Western Care Center for their loving care and support.
Surviving are daughters, Darlene May and Janet (Harry) Morris both of Wooster, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, brothers, Rudy (Marian) Bursani of Florida, Tony Bursani, Bill Bursani and a sister, Lucille Coblentz all of Wooster.
In addition to her husband, Rose was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Helen Beers, Mary Zappone, Amy Dulaney, Joann Hayes, Caroline Bursani, Raymond Bursani and Albert Bursani.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday, November 12, 2010 with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family with arrangements.
