Robert John Anderson Sr. 96 of Wooster died Wednesday November 17, 2010 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 27, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church 621 College Avenue Wooster, Ohio 44691 with Revs. Jim Watt and Emily Corzine officiating. There will be no calling hours.
He was born May 7, 1914 in Pittsburgh PA the son of Aaron and Sue Elder Anderson. He married Madeline McFarland who preceded him in death in 1989.
Robert worked as a Postal Clerk for the United States Post Office and as a School bus driver for Triway and Wooster local schools for many years. He was a veteran of the United States army serving his country during WWII. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wooster, Order of Eastern Star, and Ebenezer Lodge #33 F & AM.
Surviving is a daughter: Suellen (Peter) Kador of Omaha Nebraska. Two grandchildren: Karl and Heidi Kador.
Besides his wife he was also preceded in death by his parents, and son: Robert J. Anderson and two brothers William E. and Samuel G. Anderson.
