WOOSTER – Helen Delores CASKEY, 74, of Wooster, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010 in Aultman Hospital in Canton. .
She was born May 25, 1936 in Wellston, OH, daughter of Leo and Marcella Whiting Mahley.
Helen was a homemaker, an avid baker and cook and outdoors person. She loved taking care of her grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Sandy (Mark) Bachus, Tina Bob) Anderson and Kim Caskey and John Edwards all of Wooster; grandchildren, Melanie (Brian) Hochstetler, Mindy Moore, Bobby Anderson and Lauren Anderson all of Wooster; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Hochstetler, siblings Mary Williams, Ruth (Dick) Bichard, Nancy (Dick) Lardin, Betty (Walt) Davis, Linda (Larry) Jeffrey, Doris (George) Grady of Cambridge, Chuck Mahley, Harry (Debbie) Mahley and Joe (Judy) Mahley all of Cambridge and Eunice (William) Carlisle of Columbus and a special family friend Whitey Morris and his daughter Cindy Staley and family and her four legged friend, Cody
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Leo Mahley Jr., niece, Nora Williams and a sister-in-law Sue Mahley.
Friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
