WOOSTER – Donald Eugene DuBois, 77, of Wooster, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010 in Wooster Community Hospital.
He was born August 14, 1933 in Cambridge, the son of Homer L and Vera Casterline DuBois. He married Mariella Millhon in 1956. She survives.
He retired as Senior Vice President of Lending from First Federal Bank. He was a graduate of Cambridge High School and was a member of the First Christian Church in Cambridge. Donald was a member of the Wooster/Madisonburg Evening Lions for 46 years, the American Legion Post 68 of Wooster and the Downtown Rebounders. He was an avid poker player and golfer, enjoyed fishing and being a part of community activities. He served his country with the U.S. Army..
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Kevin (Tammy) DuBois of Wooster and a brother, Homer L DuBois Jr. of Charleston, SC, his beloved grand dog Schotzy, a special friend Roger Murphy and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and Linda DuBois.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 pm.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Charles Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
