WOOSTER – Annette BLACK, 80, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born December 12, 1930 in Brookville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Clyde and Anna Margaret Brosious Helmheckel.
She retired from the Horn Nursing Home in 1997 where she was a receptionist and payroll administrative assistant. She was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children, Randall J. (Martha) Black of Wooster, Sheryl C. (Peter) Black of Media, Pennsylvania, and Robert (Lisa) T. Black of Wooster; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Songer of Warren and Molly Johns of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Betty Van Steenberg, Patty Popson, Eleanor Lapsley and Julia Ames and a brother Blake Helmheckel.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the service at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. William Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
