WOOSTER – Barry N. BAKER, 78, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2011 in Brookdale Assisted Living in Wooster.
He was born August 14, 1932 in Wheeling, West Virginia, the son of Floyd Herbert and Ruth Fulton Baker. He married J. Nadine Rikard in 1953. She died November 18, 2005.
He was a Civil Engineer and had worked for Engineering Assoc., Inc. for 30 years. Member of the Zion Lutheran Church and had served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Surviving are his children Bruce (Beth) of Howell, MI, Keith (Jackie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nina Baker of Euclid, and Kent (Lori) of Wooster; Grandchildren Brian, Scott, Courtney, Quinn, Bret and Drew.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. Interment will follow in the Wooster Cemetery. Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
