WOOSTER – Margaret A SHEPPARD, 93, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 in West View Manor Nursing Home..
She was born June 22, 1918 in Chester Township, Wayne Co.,the daughter of Robert and Margaret Matty Schmid. She married Robert W. Sheppard on February 22, 1942. He survives.
She was a homemaker and worked for Quality Farm and Fleet for 10 years. She was a graduate of Chester High School and the Wooster Business College. Margaret was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Marla (John) Bastin of Wooster and Donita (Lowell) Kreider of Marshallville, grandchildren, Zachary (Shelly) Bastin, Nicholas Bastin, Jason (Sue) Kreider, Maria (Doug) Steiner and Ryan (Staci) Kreider and 9 great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Victor and Robert Schmid and sisters Gladys Frank, Freida Jentes and Esther Jentes.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
