WOOSTER – Mark C. Stover, 64, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Horn Nursing Home following a short illness.
Mark was born in Berea, Ohio on May 2, 1947 to Edward and Dorothy (Berr) Stover and grew up in Port Clinton, Ohio. He was a 1965 graduate of Port Clinton High School and Bowling Green State University. He taught briefly at Port Clinton Junior High and later worked at Wilson Cabinet Company in Killbuck. Mark enjoyed sports and especially loved watching the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.
Surviving are daughters Hayley Stover of Millersburg and Carrie (Duane) Morrison of Holmesville, ex-wife Rebecca Stover of Millersburg, brother Edward (Kathy) Stover and sister Lisa(Dave) Dubbert both of Port Clinton, Ohio, three grandsons and many loved family members and friends as well as special friend Ken Klingerman of Wooster.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, nephew James Hackworth and a granddaughter Avery Morrison.
A private family service will be held at a later date in Port Clinton, Ohio.
McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
