WOOSTER – Dorothy M. Angert, 91, of Wooster, died on Sunday, November 13, 2011.
She was born May 13, 1920 in Wayne County, the daughter of Clyde R. and Ruth M. (Kline) Myers. On January 23, 1943, she married Andrew L. Angert in San Antonio, Texas. He died March 7, 1975.
Dorothy was employed at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Wooster.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Norman Wright of Silverthorne, Colorado; two grandchildren, Zane Wright of Eagan, Minnesota and Victoria Wright of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews including Janet Gallander of Wooster.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her son, J. William Angert and a sister, Miriam Oiler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Music Fund, 301 N. Market St., Wooster, OH 44691 or Hospice & Palliative Care of Greater Wayne Co., 2525 Back Orrville Rd., Wooster, OH 44691 or to a charity of choice.
Burial will be at the Wooster Cemetery with a memorial service on Saturday November 19, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with the Rev. Larry Black officiating.
