WOOSTER – Marjorie M. Midge HALDERMAN, 72, of Wooster, died unexpectedly on Tuesday,January 3, 2012 in Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born August 1, 1939 in Barberton, the daughter of Harry and Geneva Salmons Kirchberg. She married Gary Halderman on July 14, 1962. He survives.
Midge had worked for the United Telephone Co. for over 4 years in the billing dept., she had been a teachers aide in the Wooster City Schools for over 10 years and had worked for Buehler’s for over 15 years. She was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Midge was a board member of the Adaptive Sports Program of Ohio and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and following their activities..
In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Valerie (Dan) Rowe and Sharon (Joel) Schmidt both of Wooster; grand children, Caleb and Cameron Schmidt; sisters, Shirley Kirchberg and Lynn (David Beckett) Bauer both of Wooster.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends will be received on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 4-7:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Lori Farr officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Midge gave the gift of sight by the donation of her corneas.
