WOOSTER – Stanley Lee RENNER, Sr. 86, of Wooster, passed away February 6, 2012 in Smithville Western Care Center.
He was born January 27, 1926 in Strasburg, Ohio, the son of Louis and Alice McCreight Renner.
He had worked at the Timken Co. and as the head of maintenance at St. Mary Church and School retiring after 33 years. He was a loyal member of St. Mary Catholic Church and had many friends.
Surviving are his wife, Madonna, whom he married November 30, 1945 and his children, Stanley L (Sharon) Renner Jr. of Bakersfield, California and Madonna Alessandro of Wooster; 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a brother, Marshall Renner of Canton and a sister, Elsie Hothem of Fresno.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Victor and Ross Renner.
Friends will be received at the at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Thursday evening, February 9, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Moran as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice & Palliative Care and Smithville Western Care Center for their care and support.
