WOOSTER – Elizabeth J GIAUQUE, 79, of Wooster, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 in her home.
She was born May 16, 1932 in Cleveland, the daughter of Nicholas and Clara Massoni DeCarlo. She married Robert Giauque on January 1, 1951. He died May 30, 1994.
She had worked at Frito Lay and Rexroth and then worked with her husband at Giauque Shoe Repair. Elizabeth enjoyed crafts and participating in shows, enjoyed playing cards and people and loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed her trips to Myrtle Beach. She was a member of the Lamplighters Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are her children Robert Jr. (Lisa) Giauque, Tim Giauque and Brenda Fields all of Wooster and Steven (Terrey) Giauque of Malvern, Ohio; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death her parents, 2 brothers and a sister.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Monday, February 13, 2012 from 6-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Hospice Chaplain Bob Grover officiating. Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster.
