WOOSTER, OHIO – Edna E GORMAN, 82, of Wooster and formerly of E. Greenbush, New York passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in West View Manor Nursing Home.
She was born September 18, 1929 in Bayonne, New Jersey, the daughter of Joseph and Theresa Balaj Sock. She married William G. Gorman on November 18, 1950. He died in 2003.
She had been a pharmacy assistant and then a homemaker. Edna was a member of Cathedral of All Saints Church in Albany, New York and St. James Episcopal Church in Wooster.
Surviving are her children David (Katherine) Gorman of Saratoga, NY, Dianne Gorman of Derwood, MD, Donald Gorman of Schenectady, NY and Daniel (Susan) Gorman of Wooster, OH; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband,Edna was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 122 E. North St., Wooster on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Evelyn Manzella officiating. Interment will be Monday, March 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rensselaer, New York.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
