Together Again
WOOSTER – Lois Varnes HARTER, 82, of Wooster passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 in her home.
She was born September 13, 1929 in Shreve, the daughter of Ray Arthur and Iola Silvius Varnes. She married Billy B. Harter on August 16, 1947. He died September 4, 1994.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Apple Creek United Methodist Church. Lois was an avid cook, baker and picture painter..
Surviving are her children Linda (Robert) Tenney, Bernard Bernie (Judy) Harter both of Apple Creek, and Jim (Brenda) Harter of Fredericksburg, grandchildren, Tammi Harrold , Jennifer Galehouse, Philip Harter all of Apple Creek, Vickie Tenney of Stow, Adam Harter of Westerville and Ashley Howard of Wooster; a step-granddaughter Catrina Burr of Wooster; great-grandchildren, Tyler Harter, Dillan Galehouse, Rylan Harter, Stella Howard, Amelia Howard, Justin Burr and Savanna Burr; a sister, Betty Spake of Wooster.
In addition to her husband, Lois was preceded in death by parents, a son William C. Harter in 1992, sisters, Virginia Neiger, Evelyn Varnes, Carol Tenney and Esther Staggs and brothers, Charles Buck Varnes and Ray Varnes, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Apple Creek Cemetery
