WOOSTER – David Fredrick Robb, 62, of Wooster died Friday June 22, 2012 at Horn ™s Nursing Home.
He was born December 19, 1949 in Wooster the son of Clifford and Frances Brooks Robb.
He was a graduate of Wooster High School and went on to graduate from Akron University with a Bachelors and Masters Degrees in social work. Dave was also a licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor III E. He enjoyed talking with others and could play a mean game of euchre.
David worked as a Wayne County Adult Probation Officer, taught DUI classes in Wayne, Stark and Richland Counties and Alcohol Counseling for the Wayne County Courts. He was a longtime upstanding member of A.A. and had helped many people get started on their road to recovery throughout the years.
David is survived by his sons Paul Robb and Curt Robb; grandchildren Alora Hickling, Kaitlyn and Ashley Robb and a great granddaughter Izzabel Fox.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 150 E. North St., Wooster.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., is assisting the family with the arrangements.
