WOOSTER – Dorothy A. MOORE, 87, of Wooster, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at Smithville Western Care Center. She was born February 6, 1925 in Ada, OH, daughter of Ralph and Fern Freed Neiswander. She married Robert E. Moore on August 9, 1947. He died May 8, 1996. She was a graduate of the Ohio State University, was a homemaker and a former director of the Wee Care Center. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Fireside Club and was an avid bridge player. Surviving are her children Terry R. Moore and Judy (David) Porter both of Pt. Clinton and Donald E. (Teresa) Moore of Lexington, KY; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Tom Neiswander. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwil St., Wooster 1 hour prior to the 1:00 p.m. service on Friday, January 11, 2013. Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
