WOOSTER – William Edwin GRAY, 91, of Wooster, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at the West View Manor Nursing Home. He was born March 15, 1921 in Killbuck, the son of Walter and Evangeline Waltman Gray. He married Pauline M. Wyre on November 23, 1946. She survives. He had worked for Sears-Roebuck Co. in advertising and display. Had been a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church since 1934. Served his country with the US Army during WWII. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Leland Gray of Birdseye, Indiana and a grandson Justin (Kristen) of Indianapolis, Indiana. William was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wooster Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Black officiating. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family. Contributions may be made to the Charity of the donor’s choice.
