WOOSTER – Elizabeth IANNARELLI, 92, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Wooster Community Hospital following a brief illness. She was born August 31, 1920 in Barberton, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Dienes Lazar. She married Dominic Iannarelli on December 28, 1940. He preceded in 1995. She and her husband, Dom, owned and operated Libby’s Inn on Pittsburgh Ave. for over 27 years. Elizabeth was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Francis Mission Circle #10 and the 37th Division Signal Co. WWII Veterans Group. Elizabeth was an avid bingo player and bowler. She was proud of her wartime work effort which included military equipment testing at Firestone. She loved to dance, especially to wartime tunes. Surviving are her children, Thomas Iannarelli and Linda (Roger) Clark both of Wooster and Mark Iannarelli of Columbus; 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandaughter. In addition to her husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Lazar. Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 5:15 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Avenue, Wooster. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery, Wooster.
