AKRON – Danny WAY, 65, of Akron, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Akron City Hospital. He was born December 8, 1947 in Wooster, the son of Carroll Red and Thelma Watts Way. He had worked as an electrician and was the co-founder of A.C. Split Bolt & Electratel Danny was a member of the Cascade Community Church, was a Mason and a Jaycee in Wooster and had a Christmas display that extended from Leroy’s Bar to Rebecca St. where he portrayed Santa. Surviving are his mother of Wooster, his son Doug (Krista) Way of Wooster; grandchildren, Brandon and Kayla way; brothers, Larry (Pam) Way, Tom Way and Chip (Judy) Way all of Wooster. Danny was preceded in death by father and an infant brother Carl. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 1-4:00 p.m. at the Wayne Co. Care Center, 876 S. Geyers Chapel Rd., Wooster. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
