WOOSTER – Carol G GRANDE, 80, of Wooster, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at her home.
She was born November 7, 1932 in Cleveland and was raised by Frank and Bertha Schaffer.
Before her retirement, she had worked for many years at Bell & Howell. Carol was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church..
Surviving are a daughter, Christine A Grande of Wooster.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, George Grande in 1957 whom she married in 1948, a son-in-law, Cliff Prewett and 4 sisters, Betty Salontay, Ruth Young, Virginia Nussbaum and Joyce McLaughlin.
Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster on Friday, August 9, 2013 with Rev. Stephan Moran as the celebrant. A rosary will be recited at the Church  at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
