WOOSTER Sharon K. Bevington, 61, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2014 at her home.
She was born October 30, 1952 in Raven, Virginia, the daughter of James and Myrtle Shelton Hill. She married Roger Bevington on February 13, 1971. He survives.
She had worked at Diamonite Corp in Shreve for 20 years. Sharon enjoyed shopping, collectibles and volunteering at Church. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Living Water Fellowship in Wooster.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Roger, Jr. (Sarah Meier) Bevington of Apple Creek and Buddy (Melissa) Bevington of Wooster; her grandchildren, Erica, Alyssa, Alex, Andrew, Ty and Elana Bevington all of Wooster and Brianna Stroud and Madeline June Pippin of Apple Creek; her siblings, Dorothy Garver, Brenda Crawford, Sylvia Cruey, Cliff Hill, Sonya Taulbee all of Wooster, Ted Hill of Apple Creek and Mike Hill of Congress. Many, many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Stutzman.
Friends will be received at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster on Friday evening, January 17, 2014 from 5-8:00 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Cliff Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve.
