COLUMBUS “ Beth Weimer Flack, 94, of Columbus and formerlyof Wooster passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Forum at Knights Bridge in Columbus.   Beth and her twin sister Jeanne were born in Wooster on September 7, 1919 to Dr. J.R. Weimer and Nellie Senff Weimer.
She married A. Painter Flack in 1943 who passed away in 1982.
Beth received her R.N. Degree from St. Luke ™s Hospital in Cleveland and worked at Akron Children ™s Hospital before moving back to Wooster where she continued her nursing career at Glendora Nursing Home and West View Manor Nursing Home.   She was a member of Jr. Women ™s Club, Colony Club and PEO Chapter DF.
Her main interest was being with her family.   She enjoyed taking her three daughters on cruises and trips to Sanibel Island, Florida.   She also enjoyed gardening, reading and watching sports on T.V.
Surviving are her three daughters, Jean Ann (Brian) Gilbert of Powell, Ohio, Barbara (David) Christopher of Wooster and Mary (Dick) Gillenwater of Carlisle, Penn.   Also, Six grandchildren, Amy Bellis, Kelly Howell Weller, Jenny Christner Washington, Dan, Angie and John Gillenwater.
Seven great-grandchildren, Ben and Andy Bellis, Sophia and Georgia Weller, Violet and Victoria Washington and Kwenton Washington-Wills.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her infant brother Jack, her twin sister Jeanne Ziemke and her sister Traci Bresson.As per her wish, cremation will take place and graveside services will be for the immediate family only at an unspecified date.
In lieu of flowers, she asked that donations be made to the American Heart Assoc., 15120 Collections Center Dr., Chicago, IL 60693 or to a charity of the donor ™s choice.
