WOOSTER “ Dottie Kay Curie, 59 of Wooster passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born September 7, 1954 in Wooster, the daughter of Howard and Vera Hackler Snow.
She was a 1972 graduate of Norwayne High School.   She had been a drill press operator at the Akron Brass Company for 13 years.   Dottie was a member of the Heartland Christian Center in Wooster.   She loved dancing and shopping and was very passionate about her children, grandchildren and had a loyal group of friends that she treasured.
She is survived by her children Andrea Yoder of Lattasburg and Josh Curie of Detroit, Michigan, her grandchildren Shaun, Cohen and Araiyah; her mother, Vera Snow of Wooster; sisters Joyce Ludy of Malvern, Mary Houmard of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and brother Alvin Snow of Wooster.
There will be no calling hours or services per her request.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Masci, the hospice staff, and the oncology dept. at the Cleveland Clinic for providing so much compassion and support.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
