Frank C. MarLett, of Wooster, Ohio, passed away August 26, 2015 in Wooster, Ohio.   He was born January 29, 1930 in Warren, Pennsylvania.   Married to Joan Waugh of Celina, Ohio, July 1, 1951, Frank and Joan recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.  
Frank was a United Methodist Pastor, serving churches in Ohio for 43 years. He graduated from Warren High School in Warren, PA, Otterbein College (B.A.), Northwestern University Theological Seminary (Master of Arts in Divinity) and received his Doctorate of Ministry (D.Min) Degree from the Ashland Theological Seminary.
Frank was ordained an Elder in the Methodist Church in 1955. He was pastor of churches in Columbus, Cleveland, Mentor, Akron, Galion and Wooster, and District Superintendent in Mount Vernon. He retired in 1992, and then served West Lebanon United Methodist Church part time for four years.  
Through many years, Frank was active in the United Methodist District and East Ohio Conference organizations, especially enjoying his years as Trustee of Copeland Oaks and Flat Rock Children ™s Home.   He was an active member of Kiwanis for decades, including president of a local club.   He served on many city and county organizations such as Y.M.C.A., Meals on Wheels and Mental Health Boards.
Frank is survived by his wife, Joan (Waugh) MarLett, daughter, Susan Bauer of Galion, sons Mark (Beth) MarLett of Canton, and John (Shannon) MarLett of El Dorado Hills, CA;   Grandchildren:   Amie (Rick) Wolf, Bill Bauer, Tim (Erica) Bauer, Abbi Grau, Matthew (Samantha) MarLett,   Andrea (Drew) Rankin, Brennan, Evan and Jenna MarLett.   Great Grandchildren; Chandler, Calli, Cole, Allison, Elizabeth, Kyle, David and Norah, and also survived by a sister, Jean Cardman. He was preceded in death by his father Mason, his mother, Lucille, and his brother, David.
A private family service has been held officiated by Rev. John Buchanan.   Funeral arrangements by McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home (Wooster) and entombment at Sherwood Memorial Gardens (Wooster).     Frank requested any memorials be made to the Salvation Army of Wooster (437 S Market St, Wooster, OH 44691), People-to-People Ministries, (454 E Bowman St, Wooster, OH 44691) or to the United Methodist Church of your choice.
The family would like to thank the caring medical staff of Wooster Community Hospital and LifeCare Hospice for their wonderful care.
