Donalda Patricia Freer “ 88, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at West View Healthy Living.
She was born Aug. 23, 1927 to Donald and Helen (Eckler) Thornburg in Akron, Ohio.  
She had six sisters, Patricia, Helen, Barbara, Jeanette, Joan and Mary.   Donalda graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School.   She married Robert Jones and shortly thereafter, they had two children, Susan and their adopted son, Steven.    
The family moved to the San Diego, California area in 1958.   Donalda attended Grossmont College where she graduated, summa cum laude, with a degree in Psychology.   Donalda enjoyed hiking, cross-country skiing and dancing.   She spent most of her career as an Office Manager for a variety of businesses. She returned to Wooster, Ohio in the winter of 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan and son, Steven; her two Granddaughters, Jessica and Angela; and, her two sisters, Joan and Mary.
