Florence Pauline Jacobs, 93, of Wooster died Friday, June 17, 2016 at Glendora Care Center.
She was born May 12, 1923 in Wayne County to Howard and Leola Kamp Kolp.   On January 18, 1942, she married Robert Jacobs.   He preceded her in death in 1992.
Florence was a homemaker and she enjoyed cards, especially Euchre, collecting glassware and raising Irises.   She was a 50 year member of the former Bethel United Methodist Church and had been recently attending New Pittsburg United Methodist Church.   She was a member of the New Pittsburg Fire Department Auxiliary and the Segar Club.
She is survived by her children Richard (Debra) Jacobs, Caroline (Robert) Holmes and Phil Jacobs all of Wooster and Stanley (Nicki) Jacobs of North Olmsted; grandchildren Mike (Janene) Holmes, Matthew Jacobs, Jennifer (Michael) Garver, Jason (Roni) Jacobs, Allison (Dan) Hamsker, Makayla Jacobs and Hannah Jacobs; step grandchild Dakota Estrada; nine great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren and a bother Howard (Florence) Kolp Jr., of West Salem along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband, Florence was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Treva Ward and Iva Hines and two infant sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Jon Havelin officiating.   Interment will follow in Mohican Church of the Brethren Cemetery.  
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
