Shirley Ann Kanagy, 84, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Avante at Leesburg Nursing Home in Leesburg, Florida.
She was born May 24, 1932 in Warren, Ohio.
She had been a telephone receptionist in a bank and had been a waitress for many years.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl L. Brown of Lady Lake, Florida and Norman Kanagy of Livonia, Michigan; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and a brother, Tom Over.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Kanagy in 2001 and by her son, Harold Over.
Private family services were held.
