Beverly Ann Metcalf, 81, of Wooster died Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Glendora.
She was born January 31, 1936 in Wooster to Floyd and Hazel Conrad Gauweiler.   In 1954, she married her husband of over 48 years Lowman Metcalf.   He preceded her in death in 2002.
Beverly was a homemaker whose passions were family and cooking.   She graduated from Wooster High School in 1954 and had worked as a cook at Lowery Center until 1976.   She was a member of the Moose Auxiliary and the American Legion Post #68 Auxiliary.  
She is survived by her children Pam Metcalf of Warsaw and Jeff Metcalf of Wooster and a special friend since 2003, Robert Pritchett of Wooster.
Along with her husband, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Donna Benner.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, 7067 Cleveland Rd., Wooster.
There will be no calling hours.
