Jim Roby, 59, of Wooster died Friday, December 29, 2017.
He was born October 18, 1958 in Wooster to Robert and Janet Jacot Roby.   On August 2, 1980, he married Kayla Speelman.   She survives.
Jim had worked for Metals USA for over 38 years and was co-owner of the Country Fixins vegetable stands.   He had played fast pitch softball for over 30 years.   He also enjoyed hunting and bowling where he had made many friends over the years.
Along with his wife, Kayla, he is survived by his children Jimmy Roby and Suzanne (Ryan) Eggeman; his mother Janet; brothers Mike Roby and Rick (Kathy) Roby all of Wooster; half-brother Bobby; a half-sister Becky  and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Arnie Kaufman officiating.   Interment will follow in Fredericksburg East Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
