WOOSTER “ Donald Dale Howman, 66, of Wooster passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 after a period of declining health.
He was born May 21, 1952 in Lodi, the son of Donald E. and Annie Stahl Howman.   He married Sharon Boak on February 22, 1974.   She survives.
Dale ™s love was farming especially raising and showing sheep and dairy cattle.   He showed at the Stark Co. Fair, Wayne Co. Fair and the Ohio State Fair.   He loved farming and International Tractors.   He was an avid Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Dale lived for his family and his greatest love of all were his grandchildren.   County fairs and 4-H were his life and meant the world to him. Dale loved spending time with family and will be greatly missed.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Sharon, are his children, David (Charlene) Howman of Wooster, Mike Howman, Joe (Brenda) Howman both of W. Salem and Christine (Ron) Strock of Wooster; his mother Annie of Orrville; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grand-child; his siblings, Paul (Dorothy) Howman of Cincinnati, John (Marla) Howman of Massillon, Claire (Rita Joy) Howman of Warsaw, Ruth (Sheldon) Metcalf of Wooster and Martha (Marv) Byall of Orrville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Dale has been cremated and a memorial service of his life will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 2-3:00 p.m. followed by a light luncheon at the Smithville United Methodist Church, 243 N. Milton St., Smithville.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
