Carolyn S. Linkous Stoudmire, 68, of Wooster died Friday, September 28, 2018 at Wooster Community Hospital.  
She was born December 16, 1949 in Hamlin WV to Paris and Glenda Dingess Linkous.   On June 16, 2002 she married Ernest Stoudmire, who survives.
Carolyn was a housekeeper at the Hilton Garden Inn.   She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and taking care of her family and friends was her passion.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her children Chris Linkous of Myrtle Beach, SC, Latrinda Linkous Williams of Orrville, Michael Patrick, Tonya Miller and Michael Johnson  all of Wooster; her mother Glenda Wright of Wooster; step-children Stacey Foxworth of Akron, Ernest Ivory Stoudmire of Wooster and Isaac Stoudmire of Canton; 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father; a brother Danny Lee Linkous and a baby sister Linda Lou Linkous.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Rickey Brown officiating.   Interment will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
