FLATWOOD, KY “ Rose Mary Ison, 86, of Flatwoods, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Bellfonte Hospital in Ashland, Ky.
She was born May 25, 1932 in Ashland, KY, the daughter of William and Jenny Higgins Hall.
She was a homemaker and had been a caregiver at Hilltop Villa, and loved gardening.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Vera) Ison, Kathy Blevens, Jeffrey, Sr. (Valerie) Ison and Mark (Mindy) Cavin; 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ira Ison in 1997, her parents, children, Susan Adkins, Vicki Kouns, Kristy Jo Ison, Patricia Shawler, Charles T. Ison, Roseann Ison, Andrea Spencer and her siblings, Margie Webster, Betty Evans, Izzy Hall, William Hall and Cloatine Fox.
Friends will be received 2 hours prior to the 1:00 p.m. service on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.   Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery
