WOOSTER Betty Marie Brillhart, 89, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at West View Healthy Living.
She was born April 6, 1929 in Dalton on the family farm to Ray M. and Fannie Plank Shisler.
She retired as head teller from First Merit Bank. Betty was a member of the Christ United Church of Christ in Orrville.
Surviving is a daughter, Elaine (Michael) Hammer of Wooster; grandchildren, Kerrie Anderson, Jill Anderson and Lori (Robin) Adams; great-grandchildren, Stephanie Gilbert, Kendra King, Gianna King, Brenton Kasler and Ladimir Kasler and a great-great-grandson, Theodore Susanjar; sisters, Esther Graber of Dalton, Mabel Wade of Apple Creek and Pauline Gordon of Tallmadge.
Betty was preceded in death by parents and step-mother Laura, her husband, Paul J. Brillhart in 1987, her brothers, Don, Gene and Wayne Shisler and step-children, Paul Brillhart, Jr., Mark Brillhart and Jean Ann Macabee.
A memorial service will be held at West View Healthy Living, 1715 Mechanicsburg Rd., Wooster on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kirk Fairhurst officiating. The family will greet friends following the service. Please use the Mechanicsburg Rd. entrance due to the construction.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
