BROADVIEW HEIGHTS., OHIO – Chase Bradley Marlar, 29, of Broadview Heights and formerly of Wooster passed away suddenly while riding bicycles with his mom and dad on the County Line Trail-Creston to Rittman on Saturday, August 3, 2019.
He was born September 21, 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina the son of David W. and Susan Mach Marlar.
Chase was a 2008 graduate of Wooster High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor s degree in business. He was currently employed by Airgas as a Logistics Coordinator. Chase played soccer for Wooster High School as a goal keeper for four years. He enjoyed weight lifting, snowboarding, riding Harley s and shooting sporting clays. He loved his family s holiday traditions.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a sister Stacey (Jake) Reynolds, a special cousin, Julie (Mark) Zimmerer all of Wooster and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Friends will be received on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster with Deacon Bob Zerrer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
