WOOSTER “ Larry R. œEphraim  Mowrer, 78, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Ohio ™s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.
He was born May 14, 1941 in Wooster the son of Eldon œAl  and Florence Harbaugh Mowrer.   He married Kay Proper on August 25, 1979.   She survives.
He was a 1959 graduate of Wooster High School and graduated from Ashland College in 1966.   He had worked for Jim Starr Construction and retired from FJ Designs.   He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and the Buckeyes.
He proudly served his country with the US Army in the Ohio National Guard from 1966-1972.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, Kay, he is survived by his siblings, Clay (Marie) Mowrer, Rod (Jace) Mowrer, and Al (Judy) Mowrer and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours and private family services will be held.
McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster is assisting the family.
