Bonnie S. Hissom-Troxell, 72, of Wooster passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Smithville Western Care Center.
She was born May 16, 1947 in Sistersville, WV, the daughter of Robert and Berta Cline Hissom.   Bonnie had been employed by Santmyer Oil Company.
She loved the Guerne Heights Restaurant and car shows, going to yard sales, going to Summit Motor Speedway, Conway Twitty and spending time with her family, friends and her many grandkids.
Bonnie is survived by a son James (Amy Flessel) Mellott of Wooster and a daughter Michelle Flores of Youngstown; grandchildren Eric Mellott, Rachel Sommers, Michael Mellott, Elyzabeth, Angelina, Tawney and Taylor Flores; many great-grandchildren; and siblings Roberta (Rick) Burr, Walter (Becky) Cox and Jeannette (Don) Girt all of Wooster and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life, Ron Shallenbeger, her step-fathers Ed Taylor and Merle Cox.
There will be no calling hours.   Private family services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home (also viewable on Facebook Live at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Facebook page).   Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
