WOOSTER – James Wayne Dillon, 90, of Wooster, passed away unexpectedly August 25, 2020, a week after being diagnosed with bone cancer. He had been a resident of Smithville Western Dementia Unit for a year.
He was born in Wooster, Ohio, the son of Jim and Luella Dillon of Wooster. He had one Sister, Freda Neary of Boston, Mass, who preceded him in death.
Wayne was employed at Shearers Farm Implement for many years until he started his own business repairing farm tractors. He loved Coon Hunting and was very proud of his hounds. He also took much pleasure in pulling his (Oliver Super 88) at County fairs.
He is survived by his four children: Judy Bishop of Bellefontaine, Lee Dillon of Kilbuck, Peggy Makemson of West liberty, Glenda Cicconetti of Wooster. Nine Grand-children: Leslie DiDonato of Hilliard, Lisa Hamilton of Raymond, Theresa Moorman of Wooster, Jill Clutter of Wooster, Lauren Nolt of Wooster, Jessica Walling of Michigan, Kimberly Drumm of Green Camp, James Dillon of Grove City and Michael Dillon of Orriville. Sixteen Great-Grandchildren and two Great Great grandsons.
There will be a private graveside service at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to McIntire Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, Wooster, Ohio.
