Dear Mike and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. I know the recent period of time has been difficult, but the love of family was clearly a beacon for all. Prayers for your Mother, Nancy, and you as you go through this difficult time.
Yours,
Sandy
I work at Wooster United Methodist Church, John & Caroline’s church. My office looks out onto the ramp that leads up to our fellowship hall and kitchen, where meals are served on Thursdays to anyone in the community who has need. John & Caroline volunteered to pick up items that were being donated by Panera and bring them to the church. Each Thursday, John would come in pushing a cart of baked goods. When he got to the ramp, which can be a bit steep, especially when you are pushing something, Caroline would come up behind him, put her hands on his back, and push John up the ramp as John pushed the cart up the ramp. Seeing them work together to accomplish their goal was always so sweet and I looked forward to seeing them each Thursday. I know that spirit of working together and helping each other out extended far beyond their Thursday morning duties for Meals Together and that it was an encouragement and example to all who knew them. My deepest condolences to Caroline and family.
I am sorry to hear about you losing your Dad. It is always heartbreaking to lose a parent. I will be saying prayers for you and your family, Mike.
So sorry Mike…you have my deepest sympathy.
Mike,
Thoughts and prayers are with you during what is already a tough time in the world to live in. I lost my dad a long time ago…it’s not an easy thing, especially when the relationship was a real blessing. My dad loved to fly, too 🙂 God speed to your pop and hugs to you!
My hope is that fond memories of your loved one will prevail during this time of remembrance of your loved one. Hopefully peace will prevail during this trying time in your trek down life’s pathway.
John was a wonderful man.
Mike,
I am so sorry about your dad’s passing. It’s always difficult at a time like this, even with the passing of a loved one at ripe age! Please accept my condolence and bear the loss with fortitude.
With best wishes,
Teddy
My dear Caroline,
Keeping you and family in my thoughts and prayers. Will always remember John as such a kind and loving person, and such a wonderful, devoted family man. I am blessed to have known him. I love you. ❤️
My condolences to Caroline and the rest of his family.
I met John through his Ham Radio activities and enjoyed many Monday lunches with him. John was always a willing volunteer when his services could help out. He will be greatly missed as both a friend and fellow ham. On our Wednesday night net you could bet John would be mobile picking up supplies at Panera bread as another one of his many volunteer jobs.
Sending our deepest condolences from Dundee. I have lovely memories of sailing with John in Flordia and am grateful for the trips to visit you both over the years. Sending much love to you Caroline and the rest of the family.
