œTogether Again 
Neill E. Culbertson, 89, of Wooster passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Akron City Hospital.
He was born November 17, 1931 in Wooster, the son of Frank and Eva Markel Culbertson. On December 27, 1958 he married Jeanie Moretti. She preceded him in death on August 3, 2008.
Neill graduated from Wooster High School in 1949. He served his country proudly with the US Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He was a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War. After the war, Neill attended Kent State University and graduated in 1959. He retired from the Wooster Brush Company in 1995, after 35 years of employment. After retirement, Neill was employed at Mohican Hills Golf Course for 11 years. He enjoyed spending time golfing, watching his grandchildren ™s sporting activities, and reading. Neill was a member of the Wooster Elks Lodge #1346, and was a Mason of the 32nd Degree.
Surviving are his children Ronald (Lisa) Culbertson, Cheryl Dwyer, and Lisa (Scott) Hahn; grandchildren Ryan (Courtney) Culbertson, Jamie (Jayne) Culbertson, Bailey Culbertson, Danielle Dwyer, Logan (Cassie Pizzurro) Dwyer; great-grandchildren Graeme Culbertson, Myles Culbertson, and Hudson Dwyer; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Neill was preceded in death by his son-in-law Mick Dwyer and his brothers Robert (Betty) Culbertson and Wright (Jane) Culbertson.
A Service of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at 10:00am at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, with the Fr. Stephen Moran officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Facebook page. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, in Wooster.
Friends will be received on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Stark & Wayne Counties, 241 S. Bever St., Wooster, OH 44691.

  3. My heart is heavy for the family but “Uncle Neil”, has my husband Al always called him, passed on the same day as Al and I know they traveled together for a golfing adventure that they have both been waiting on a very long time. My sincere condolences to all of you.

  5. The blessing of Mom & Dad being together and with the Lord does not in any way minimize the loss you are feeling. Our prayers for you are peace, a comfort beyond words and a strength that allows you to walk through the upcoming days. The faith your whole family has is the ROCK you will need to stand on and cling to when the world feels like sinking sand.
