WOOSTER “ Brian T. Smith, 56, of Wooster passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Ohio State University Hospital.
He was born March 21, 1965 in Wooster the son of Donald V. and Shirley A. Ball Smith.   He married Pamela Cox on April 24, 2010.   She survives.
Brian was a 1984 graduate of Wooster High School and had worked for Walmart for 20 years.   He attended Grace Church in Wooster.   He loved reading and watching movies, was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Buckeye ™s fan.   He enjoyed science fiction, especially Star Trek and attended many of their conventions and was an avid comic book collector.
Brian had a love of people and never knew a stranger and he was always devoted to his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Pamela, he is survived by his mother-in-law Beulena œBoots  Cox, of Wooster; a brother-in-law Carl Clayton (Shirley) Cox III of Wooster; sisters-in-law Michelle Miller of Apple Creek and Tina Hershberger of Wooster; a brother Lance (Ella) Smith of Morgantown, WV and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4-8:00 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Rev. Daron Butler officiating.   Private burial will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Brian ™s name to the Wayne Co. Community Foundation, 517 N. Market St., Wooster, OH 44691.

Service
Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home

Visitation
Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4-8:00 and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.
