WOOSTER “ Wanda Jean Aldrich, 86, of Wooster passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at West View Healthy Living.
She was born March 19, 1935 in Roanoke, West Virginia.   She married Dan Lee Aldrich on October 20, 1973.   He preceded her in death.
She retired from Regal Ware where she worked for several years. She had also worked for a costume shop in Jacksonville, Arkansas and had sold Avon. She was also involved with the Girl Scouts during WWII.   Wanda Loved flowers and books especially good mysteries and Harlequin.
Surviving are her children Richard (Rita) Leslie of Virginia and Elizabeth (Fred) Weekley of Ohio; step-son Troy Aldrich; grandchildren Matthew (Jessica) Leslie of Virginia, Joshua (Caitlin) Leslie of Virginia, Nathan Sigler of Ohio, Brittney (Randy) Martin of Ohio and Leslie Weekley of Ohio; great grandchildren Aiden Martin and Emilia Leslie; siblings Joy Varner of Florida, Regina Burkhammer of Virginia and James (Kathleen) Grogg of Ohio.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Tom and Jacob Grogg.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.
Private graveside services will be held in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

  1. So sorry for your loss. I have heard lots of stories about how determined Jean was over the years and never let a health issue get in her way of getting things done. She is no longer in pain and can celebrate in heaven now. Prayers to your entire family.
