Harold O. McClintock, 95, of Wooster, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021.
Harold was born on March 22, 1926 in Massillon to the late Carl and Florence (Weikert) McClintock. After completing high school, he enlisted into the U.S. Navy during World War II. Upon his return to Wayne County, he worked at Timken and Borg-Warner. Then he worked at Morton Salt as an electrical engineer for more than 30 years. After he retired, Harold worked independently on his monkey business: McClintock Engineering. Harold will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, generosity to others, and his joyful spirit. Throughout his life, Harold enjoyed traveling, community service, supporting Christian ministries, and above all, socializing with family and friends.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John Beery of Wooster and granddaughters Heather (Gary) Miller and Sacha (Chad) Kauffman of Wooster. Great-grandchildren are: Maxton (Katie) Miller, Alexia (Mark) Wengerd, Courson, Porter, and Chase Kauffman all of Wooster, and a brother, Ralph McClintock as well as many nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth McClintock, in 1974, and his sister, Glenna Mast in 2021.
Friends may call from 9:30-10:30AM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., in Wooster. A funeral service will follow at 10:30AM with Pastor Robert Fetterhoff officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at the Wooster Cemetery.
