  5. I knew Don and Edith for many many years . I always enjoyed them at their home . They were friends first but we were also customers of each other’s . I truly missed the Gold Star and them when the store closed. It was unfortunately the start of an end of an era of loss . The customer service and honesty was the number one concern of the small business then . It doesn’t seem to to exist much anymore unless there it money involved. I did maintenance repair on their home and rentals eTC . Don and I liked to talk about our clocks tractors eTc something that Don and I enjoyed so much Edie and I would talk about anything from politics to baking pies cooking and told me how an easy way to clean elderberries . I’m blessed to have known them and sad to have lost them. They were what the world’s society needs now . A GREAT loss to many I’m sure. My sincerest condolences to their entire family .
