Norma J. Jensen, 86, of Wooster passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Smithville Western Care Center.

She was born July 16, 1936 in Wayne Co. to Otto Lloyd & Ellen Grace Swartz Becker.  On April 19, 2000 she married Marvin G. Jensen who preceded her in death in 2019.

Norma worked as a teller for Bank One until she retired in 1998.  She enjoyed sewing, collecting bells & knick knacks and spending time with her family.  She was a member of Wayne Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her son Douglas Yacapraro of Wooster; step sons Michael Jensen of Apple Valley and Gary Jensen of Holmesville; grandchild Bethany (Patrick) Kessler of New Franklin; step grandchildren Matt and Chad Jensen; great grandchildren Grace and Lincoln Kessler.

In addition to her husband Norma was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Lloyd and Harold Becker.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:00AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.   Burial will follow at Wayne Presbyterian Church.

Friends & Family will be received 1 hour prior to the funeral service.

Memorial contribution may be made to Wayne Presbyterian Church, 7152 Burbank Rd., Wooster, Ohio 44691.

  5. Dear Doug So sorry about your Moms passing.Have many fond memories of our Gasche St days. Used to see her and Marvin out at the Ranch and enjoyed talking with them.She was a special lady take care.
