Theodore L. Maglio, Sr., 81, of Galion passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, in Columbus.

He was born August 27, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Salvatore and Ann Gasperetti Maglio.  On September 15, 1962 he married Mary Tomassetti.  She survives.

Theodore worked in sales for the majority of his life. In 2017 he retired from TSC in Wooster.  He established the emergency alert system in Orrville and was the president of the Orrville High School Booster Club for many years.  Theodore managed rental properties in Florida and Wooster for 22 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Mary, is a son Theodore L. Maglio, Jr of Galion; grandchildren Mia Maglio of Galion, Julianna Maglio of Orrville, Ted Maglio III of Orrville, and Tony Maglio of Canal Fulton; 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother Robert W. Maglio of Orrville.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Natalie M. Maglio in 2015; and his parents.

A Gathering of Friends will be held Friday December 2, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster in the Parish Hall.  Inurnment will follow the at St. Mary’s Cemetery with Father Stephen Moran officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 527 Beall Ave., Wooster, OH 44691 or Orrville Booster Club, PO Box 341, Orrville, OH 44667.

  10. Definitely going to miss him coming out and sitting with Ted Jr. and I. Could always count on Sr. busting Jr’s. chops, a great story about Orville football and a sweet comment about the love of his life, Mary. Rest easy Boss, you will be missed!

  11. He was my dads, Frankies, cousin and dad spoke a lot about all the good times they had growing up. I was fortunate to spend time with Ted years ago while visiting my grandparents Frank & Edith. He was such a nice person. We are praying for the family.
