Marcus “Marc” Eugene Simmerman, III, 50, of Wooster passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Avenue at Wooster.
He was born January 27, 1973 in Wooster to Marcus E. Jr. and Linda Brenneman Simmerman.
Marc was a graduate of Wooster High School and had worked at Nick Amster Workshop, Self-Reliance and Westwood Shop for Midwest Community Services. Marc enjoyed rock n’ roll and rap music, was a huge movie buff especially action and horror movies, collecting diecast cars and truck and loved cats.
He is survived by his father of Wooster; brother Michael Simmerman of Wooster; aunts Terri (Jeff) Hessler, Carol Stryker and Betty Durbin; uncle Gary Simmerman.
Marc was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents Marcus Sr and Katie Simmerman and Ernest and Mitsue Brenneman.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster with Pastor Arnie Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
