My heart hurts for your family. She was a wonderful lady. My children thought of her as another grandma in their life, and we will always appreciate the time she spent with them.
I always enjoyed the times Marcia and I volunteered at Kean when both our granddaughters went to school there. I will always remember passing out popsicles after the walk-a-thon, the book fairs which were long days but fun and rewarding and of course the Santa Shop where we helped the kids wrap the presents they bought for their family. Lots of laughs when we got together. Marcia was always nice.
So sorry to hear of the passing of your dear Mother. Love & Prayers Shawna & Family
Ms Marcia will be missed greatly. All the laughs shared, shopping ventures out and lunch time stories shared.
I know my grandma and mom are going to miss their partner in crime between the lunches shared and shopping trips to see how much mischief that could get into.
We loved you and miss you already.
I will definitely miss our breakfasts and lunches together. I so appreciated her friendship and care she shown to Katelynn over the years. I will dearly miss her a lot ❤️
What a wonderful woman.. a first cousin that I remember taking me to see the Beatles movie and listening to me scream the whole time .. taught me the latest cool dances with her sister Cheryl.. watched her love on her family and help care for others in a big way! Big heart !! She will be greatly missed by her cherished loved ones! See you on in eternity in the presence of our Lord!
Shawna:
What a shock, I am so sorry to hear about Marcia as I thought she was doing well. Donna & I will definitely miss our lunches out with her. My prayers are with you and your family. I hope the following helps you in your time of grief:
HOW YOU LIVE YOUR DASH
I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
from the beginning….to the end.
He noted that first came her date of birth
And spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth……
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not, how much we own;
The cars….the house….the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.
